Dan is a Principal in Kharis' FoodTech Fund, where he partners with high-growth scale-ups in the food & beverage industry. Based in London, he leads the fund's investments in the UK & Ireland, covering innovative brands and technologies transforming the sector.
Before joining Kharis in 2026, Dan was a Principal at Active Partners where he led investments in food, travel and lifestyle across the UK, US, and Europe. He began his career as a consultant at Bain & Company, focused on strategy for global FMCGs and commercial due diligence for private equity firms.
Originally from Cape Town, Dan holds an MPhil in Economics from Cambridge. He combines a sharp commercial mindset with a deep commitment to helping visionary founders build scalable, enduring businesses.
